Rules and regulations as it applies to an agent and Shopkite’s processes

Acceptance as a new agent

• You are expected to have completed your training and certification before being accepted as an active agent.

• As a new agent, you will be required to go through an interview session with the Head of Growth (or a delegated staff of Shopkite). If you miss the time of your interview without prior notice, your account will be prevented from applying again until after three months.

• For new agents, after you get assigned your first job, an amount will be deducted from your wallet to provide you with the necessary kits:

  • T-Shirt
  • Notepad & Pen

  You will repay this amount by refunding N1,000 on every new earning.

• Your first job will be an apprenticeship process with a more experienced agent. Your supervisor will earn 5% of your commission or a minimum of N5,000 (the larger amount will apply).

• In the event that there is no experienced agent available to accompany you, the Head of Growth will assign someone to support virtually. A virtual supervising agent will earn 3% of your commission or a minimum of N3,000 (the larger amount will apply).

Engaging prospects and merchants

• Sales people should not accept payments from merchants who do not provide a specific date for services.
• Prices must be verified on the website and quoted in writing (not just verbally) to merchants.
• Inform merchants that we ship through 3PLs (3rd Party Logistics) partners. They should expect to be contacted by our logistics partners.
• Confirm if the prospective merchant has previously engaged another agent.
• Never receive payments on-behalf of ShopKite.
• Never misrepresent the offerings or services of ShopKite.
• Report all/any fraudulent activities by either other agents, merchants or staff of ShopKite.
• Never partake in any fraudulent activity.

This policy is designed to ensure professionalism, reliability, and to avoid disruptions to merchant service and organizational flow.
